is our

COMMON
DENOMINATOR

Our work is only possible because of the generosity and passion of each person who has contributed to our mission. Every donation, at any level, is significant to this movement. We are so grateful for your support.

Please consider joining the We Fortify PIN team by choosing to donate monthly. One hundred percent—yep, every last dime—of all recurring donations support our high quality programming. That means 100% of your donation will directly impact and benefit our Elevate Village residents.

Power In Numbers = Exponential Impact

Tax Credits

Every donation over $250 is eligible for a 25% tax credit.

Donations to Elevate Villages are eligible for a Colorado Homeless Contribution Income Tax Credit.

Donations to Noble Villages are eligible for an Enterprise Zone Tax Credit.

A tax credit is a dollar for dollar reduction on the taxes you owe, as opposed to a deduction that reduces the gross income on which your taxes are calculated. The tax credit program through which you donate determines the credit amount. This is a tax credit, not just a tax deduction.

Please contact us for more information about your donation and how it might qualify for one of these credit programs.

Stock, IRA & Donor Advised Fund

Donate Stock & Securities

Donating appreciated stock and securities has several benefits, including a federal charitable tax deduction and the ability to avoid capital gains taxes upon sale of appreciated stock. Please be sure to check with your financial advisor as stock held for less than one year does not typically qualify. You can wire stock or mail certificates and all donations in this form must be accompanied by a letter detailing designation.

Donate From Your IRA

If you are 72 years or older, you may be able to make a tax-free qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from your IRA and benefit We Fortify at the same time! QCDs reduce taxable income, satisfy your required minimum distribution and maximize your charitable impact. Making an IRA donation is simple.

Donate From Your Donor Advised Fund

If you have a donor advised fund and would like to make a recommendation for a gift to We Fortify, please discuss with your financial advisor.

For more information about any of the above gifts, reach out to your philanthropic financial advisor or email Shelley@WeFortify.org.

Planned Giving

When you consider We Fortify in your Planned Giving, you are helping increase our capacity to meet the needs of the most vulnerable. A planned gift is a simple way to create enduring and lasting impact by supporting neighbors and transforming lives far into the future.

Reach out to your estate planner or email Shelley@WeFortify.org for more information.

We Fortify is a 501(c)(3) public charity. To request our EIN, please email us at heyhi@wefortify.org.

“In the village I am able to focus on what I need to get done.”

“Being back in the village has been a major support. In general, the staff and community is very supportive. It’s refreshing. When I was out, there was a lot going on in my head and when I got back into the village I was able to dial it back in and focus on what I need to get done. As far as being safe, in a situational sense, I guess and for the most part I feel safe. Mental health wise it has been really good for me to focus and block out outside noise. Before I came here there was always something going on and sometimes I get days of nothingness in the village and it really helps me slow down and settle.”

“It has given me a lot of confidence and that I’m capable of doing a lot more than I thought I could.  I’m never worried or scared when I’m at home.”

“It’s meant a lot, the independence and the community piece are big. It is nice to still have your own space though. I recently started building my credit with a credit card because of one of the life skills classes. It gives me a higher chance for success out in the real world when I move out because of all of the resources I have here. It has given me a lot of confidence and that I’m capable of doing a lot more than I thought I could. It has helped me open up a lot and ask/accept help when I need it. You all take our safety very seriously and are on top of anything that happens. I’m never worried or scared when I’m at home.”
